Hello! My name is Sheyanne and I’m so excited to be serving as IDEAS Student Society’s President for the 2026-2027 school year. I am currently pursuing my B.S. in Applied Biological Sciences, Pre-Veterinary Medicine with minors in Business and Forensic Science.

This is my senior year here at ASU and I’m in the process of applying for masters programs in Veterinary Forensics and hope to one day get into veterinary school. My dream job is to become a veterinary forensic scientist or a veterinary forensic pathologist depending on my internship and residency opportunities.

I’m really excited to help other students learn about research opportunities as online students and continuing to foster our community that has been built on inclusion and diversity within the club

Deidre Bunger

M.S. in Biology

Hi everyone! I'm Deidre, your Vice President of Communications. I am a graduate student pursuing an MS in Biology with a strong interest in molecular biology, immunology, and neuroscience. I currently live in Texas with my husband, 2 daughters, and 5 dogs. I work full time in the ICU, so I love to spend every second of free time I get with my family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

As your VP of Comms, I look forward to strengthening connections among members by promoting clear and engaging communication across multiple platforms. I hope to increase awareness of club activities, encourage member participation, and highlight student achievements while fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment.
